The Martindale test shows how hard-wearing a fabric is. The higher the score in numbers, the higher the fabric's abrasion resistance. To determine the value, the fabric is tested under a certain pressure. Velour has a score of 40,000 which represents intensive seating use. So you can use this fabric well for furniture.
Finishing options
With velour, there are a variety of finishes available. For example, you can choose to have the material cut, hemmed or fitted with a tunnel and sinew. If you choose finishing per side, the first color choice of yarn will be carried through for each side.
