Flag Longlife

Flag Longlife is a strong polyester fabric with a coarse structure. The material is slightly perforated and therefore hardly frays. It is therefore not necessary to hem this material. Thanks to the structure of the material, the flags are already clearly visible and readable at low wind speeds.

The material is weather resistant and is wind permeable due to its open structure. Thus, the material can be used outdoors without being immediately blown to pieces.

Flag Longlife has a maximum print width of 306 cm in one piece. Weighing 115 grams/m2, this is a very light material.

Print visible on the back

This material is printed on one side only. Because of the texture, the print prints through on the back of the material. Approximately 90% to 95% of the print comes back on the reverse side in mirror image. This is slightly less than the print through of Flag and Flag PET. Even with this material, your print is clearly visible on both sides.

Most common applications

Flag Longlife can be used both indoors and outdoors. It has a fire certificate and is therefore also suitable for public areas. The material is used as a banner flag, beach flag, facade flag, fencing banner, mast flag and golf flag, among other things.

The inks are not UV light resistant. So over time the colors will fade in outdoor applications. However, this process will take longer than the life of the material, so this need not be a problem.

Different flag materials

Flag, Flag PET and Flag Longlife are three materials that are tremendously similar. Flag is the basic variant and has good quality. Flag PET is similar to the basic variety in everything. The only difference is the durability of the material. In fact, this material is 100% made from recycled material. Flag Longlife does not fray as quickly due to its slightly coarser structure. As a result, hemming is not necessary and the delivery time is shorter than the other variants.

Finishing options

Flag Longlife has many finishing options. The most common is a strap with hooks. You use this for a mast flag. At the top of the flag then often comes a tunnel, this way your flag is also easy to see and read without wind force.

In addition, another option is to add tunnels, strap with d-rings, strap with cord or a strap with rings.
