Description
Decotex is a flexible polyester fabric with a fine structure and a matte appearance. The material absorbs light and so you have razor-sharp and highly detailed prints.
This material has a maximum print width of 496 cm in one piece and has a weight of 200 gr/m2.
Cloth with wrinkle recovery capability
The stretch makes it easy to pull the material into tension, eliminating creases in the fabric. In addition, you can also iron the material.
This material is not foldable due to the fragile UV inks. Therefore, this material is also shipped in rolls.
Most common applications
Decotex is mainly used for indoor applications such as trade shows or in the hospitality industry. Think for example of a banner, tendon cloth or textile frame.
The material is only suitable for indoor use and will last for years. Environmental factors such as light can affect the quality of the material or print.
Differences between Decotex and Dekostof
Decotex is very similar to Dekostof. The difference between the two? The maximum print width in one piece. Whereas Dekostof has a print width of 311 cm, we print Decotex up to a maximum width of 496 cm in one piece.
In addition, the printing techniques differ. At Decotex, the UV printing technique is used. This makes the inks UV light resistant but has a temporary, strong odor. At Dekostof, we apply the sublimation printing technique. This makes the inks odorless and makes the fabric easy to fold.
Finishing options
Decotex has many finishing options. You can cut this material clean, provide it with a band with rings, tunnels, a tendon or Velcro. A suitable finish for every application.
